New Rims For the 68!!!!! Hey all. Just got word that my new rims for my 68 Camaro will be here TODAY!
I ordered these:
They should look real nice once on the car.
*note: I'll be selling the wheels that are on it now if anyone is interested.
They are WELD Racing Drag Lites. 15" with 265's on the rear, and skinnies up front. Email me if interested. jhenson@sheppardmullin.com

BTW which center cap did you go with the 67/68 or the 69?
I really like the low profile simple look of the 67 disc brake center cap!

Re: New Rims For the 68!!!!! I prefer the 67/68 centercaps as well, those were on my car when I bought it. 17" Wheel Vintique ralleys were my second choice. I'm just glad you didn't buy some damn Torque Thrust 2s

Tony: I do have the car. The rims are what's being delivered today.
Yup, didn't want to go TT2's at all. Just too common, on what seems to be EVERY rod.

I cant wait to help you with the car.. Some interior work.. a front bumper and spoiler.. rear spoiler and that car will be SWEET!.. I think I would vote to put emblems back on the car. We could use 3M tape so as not to drill holes (what im going to do)..

Have a rear spoiler on the car. Had the previous owner paint it and put it on. He did an "okay" job of painting it. He blamed the imperfections on the spoiler,but whatever. Just add to the list of things to color sand.
I actually have the rear view mirror, and holes are there to install it. It isn't in "show" condition though, so will be looking for one on Sunday.
Can't wait for the help too! Going to need it. Again, I appreciate it... ALOT.
Oh, and put the shifter on ebay. It's got to go. Just not right on this car. Now to get rid of that tach...
