Default 18x10.5 on all four corners

Can I make this work? I'm trying either way but I'm just looking for some input. The wheel wells are allready BFHd, I'm just worried about the fronts. The car is lowered like 1.5 inches. Koni DAs, new rear bumpstops. I'm using this front tire http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

and a 305/35-18 ET street on the back. What you guys think?

along time ago I put my 17x11 up front just goofing off and it sat on the ground just fine. As long as the offset is corrected for you should be able to. I still had a good inch from the strut at STOCK height.

NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!, seriously, don't do it. I have 9.5" all the way around with a 275 tire on them. My car follows every crack in the road, and if there are any grooves where people usually drive you have to REALLY fight it to get it out. Seriously, I really wish I had a smaller tire up front

Thanks for the info, I kinda figured they would want to "follow the road" badly but Im not to worried about that. Im mainly worried weather they will fit or not...

ive heard the wheel wells in the front actually have more space than the rears and have less a chance of rubbing, theres are alot of auto x cars that have 315's all around and works just fine.

I have Z06 wheels...18x10.5 at all for corner and i like the way it handles. Yea its a pain sometimes cause it grabs the road hard in some spots but isent that the point? I can handle corners way better at higher speeds. I run a 305/35/18 nitto dr in the rear and a 275/40/18 in the front.

If your car follows every crack on the road it might be your tires or the pressure, not just the fact that they are wider.

I have cheaper 275s all the way around on my car, the sumoto hrtzs or whatever their called and haven't noticed really any difference between these and the stock 16s, well besides it looks 1000000X better and handles alot better but it doesn't really follow cracks or anything

I'm sure that they'll look really bad-***...............

But I'm also sure that you'll gat a little "trammeling" on funky pavement. I've had 225/55/16s, 245/50/16s, and now have 275/40/17s on my Z-28. The 275s, of course, are the widest, and I do get a little more trammeling with them than I did with the other 2 sizes.

I just put TTM's 17x10.5 front and rear on my car. I run 275's front and 315's rear. For my autocross set up I run 17x11's with 315's front and rear. My street tires are Sumitomo HTR Z's and they have less wandering effect than the BFG KDWS on 17x9.5 that were on before. I have occasionally driven on my Kuhmo 710's on the street and was surprised the car didn't wander more than it did.

There are some stoplights that I come to with my car that I am fighting to keep it in my lane, just cause of all the warped asphalt. I also sun the sumitomo htr-z tire. One thing to remember on my suggestions fellas is that I live in Michigan and we are known to have one of the worst if not THE worst roads in the nation

Bald 54 it looks like the front tires don't sit under the fender, looks like it is pooking out. Why are you running a 275 tire on a 10.5 tires? is it that supposed to be a 305. Do you have like sidewall problems/. I will put my 315 up front if I have time so you can get a good view

Wider rim = more sidewall stability.

The picture is real deceiving. When viewed from the top of the fenders sighting straight down they are just about dead nuts flush. The big wheel gap kind of fools the eye. They look much better in person. I went with the 275 on the front hoping the car wouldn't wander as much, plus I was afraid the tire would stick out even further. The 275 on a 10.5 is within Sumitomo's rim width range. The outer lip edge of the wheel does kind of jut out though.

On the rears I ended up using a 1/4 inch spacer mainly to keep the closed ended lugnuts from bottoming out on the longer ARP studs. Plus I'm able to jack up the car using the sub frame connectors without interference from the rear bump stops. My rear fender lips have been rolled, but with the 4x4 look I've got going now, I don't think rubbing would be an issue anyways. I mainly was looking to be able to use the larger lipped wheel on the front. Running staggered tire sizes isn't exactly the hot handling set up, but for the street I was mainly going for looks.

Up until this rear I was running a full autocross set up on the car with an extreme suspension set up. I decided I was going to use the car more for street use and put most of the stock suspension back on. The car was lowered quite a bit before using adjustable spring perches. I just got tired of scraping the long tubes and the tunnel brace on the street or even backing out of my driveway. The car only has 10,000 miles on it. I just hardly ever drove it on the street before.

The end result is sometimes always a compromise.
