Weld shots from the Musclecar Reunion at KCIR
I saw the new version Weld wheels on real army man's car on display at the Muscle Car Reunion last weekend. The flyer they had only showed the polished versions. They aren't posted anywhere, but I hounded one of the guys so bad Friday for info on the black ones he brought a CD for me Saturday. They have 6 styles in polished or black. They look just like a pro drag wheel to me.

Zero Grinding? No problem, but not in 15" diameter. There's the trick, everyone wants to run 15" diameter drag rubber and packing the ls1 brake around a 15" wheel, well about all the wheel guys can tell you it is a TIGHT squeeze. We thought we could do it with our package if anybody could, but on some cars it touches on the back. Some cars touch on one side and not the other, (so I know there are cars out there where they don't touch at all!), some cars touch on both sides, it really varies alot. The ones we have had to "clearance" or what ever the buzz word is, it doesn't take much, it could probably be done with a file faster than getting the drill out.

Been told bogarts have same issues. Some people dont have a prob, while some need minor clearancing. Depends on a few variables. Why dont anyone switch to a explorer rears? Its disk brakes and will work. We run the nine under our cars and thats ford.

jjordan you work for weld? Can you do me a favor and post a list of current LS1Tech sponsors that carry your wheels, that keeps it all kosher with the several wheel companies that currently sponsor the site. If you can't think of any pm me and I will send you advertising info.

Sure John, but what gave me away. You have been verry good to us in the past and I thank you for that, trying to be careful and not cross any lines. I believe Discount Tire and Livernois Motorsports currently carry the Weld wheel line and advertise here. I believe that Burkhardt Chassis and Tomz also have accounts with us. Sent you a PM also.
