My new one of a kind Weld wheels
Ever since I came back from Iraq, I have been working with Weld Racing/American Racing in developing a new 15" wheel that would clear F-body brakes. They used my SS to test fit the wheels and see what needed to be done in order to get them to work with minimal to no grinding. Here is what they gave me for helping out. Sorry for the crappy cell pics. I'll get more up later tonight.
The rears are 15x10 with a 7.5"bs and require MINIMAL grinding of a tab on the caliper.
These are the very first wheels for their new line. The ones I have are the only set in this style that they are going to do in black. :woot: :woot:

Safe for street
I just weighed them also
15x10=16.6lbs
15x4.5=12.0lbs for anyone who is interested. They haven't released the line yet and will be doing so thru select dealers in the near future. The other wheels...look damn sexy too. But these are the ones I liked the most. Too bad for ya'll that this is the only set in black

And to answer your price question, I have no idea how much they cost. I was given these as "payment" for letting them use my car for test fittings and measurements.

These are actually black anodized, not powdercoat. The lathe form is anodized then put in the mill for finish of the design. Six different styles, come in either black anodize or polished. We tested them to SFI standards AND Wheel and Tire Industry street load tests, so they ARE street safe. Fronts bolt on with no grinding (in 15x4), no spacer. Rears in 15x8,15x10,15x12,15x14 go on with VERY MINOR grinding on the mounting tabs and caliper "fins" (probably could be accomplished with a file).

Here's 2 shots of just 2 of the new polished Weld Racing styles. Each side has a different wheel center style. Finally a real race wheel that's approved for the street! Pics of the LS1 are with 15x4 fronts (no spacer) and 15x10 7.5" BS rears.
