Default Amp power wiring

I know theres a grommit behind the computer, and i could fit my power through it, but its a 0 gauge, and i doubt it would fit under the interior panels, a coworker told me i should wire it under the car, and ziptie the power to the frame. theres another grommit in the trunk well, that i could pull the power into and under the carpet to the amp, has anyone tried this? or would running it through the car just be a smarter decision?

No, if it's over by where the floorpan turns up for the door frame it won't be noticable.

You shouldn't have to remove the computer

Im running 1 ea. 4 gauge, and 1ea. 1/0 gauge power wire the same way and you can't tell where the power wire is.
IMO, don't run it under the car!

to get to the grommit on the passenger side, dont you have to remove the computer? only other grommit i saw was in at the driver side, but then id have 0g red cable going all over my hood. would it be easier to just drill a hole in my firewall? and im not sure if the ls1 computer location is different, but i have a v6 =[ so its up against the passengerside firewall

Yeah, I removed my computer when I ran my power cables. I could of just pulled it up out of the way, but it was easier with it removed. .

i put mine through the grommet going from the inside of the car. Then I just grabbed it from the engine side and pulled through as much as I needed to reach the battery.
