Default pioneer avh p4000dvd?

anyone used it? or have any feedback on it? looks to be very inexpensive. i really only listen to the radio, cd's and like to pop in a movie on a trip. i have a 6500dvd now (flip out) but it decided a couple days ago it just wants to throw error codes when i try and put a cd in so i need a new reciever.

I've had it in my truck for months now, love it compared to the other touchscreen ones I went through before.

No issues at all, grounded the wire and it works perfectly.

I've got one in my DD, it's a nice unit. I've had it for over a year and had zero problems with it.

Just grounding the parking brake wire wont work with this unit, it has to be ground-off-ground before it will play DVD's. If you are going to hook it up to your parking brake that means parking brake on, off, and then on again. Kinda weird I know, I have mine hooked up to a toggle switch.

Here's a good link with more info http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14154

No custom back grounds for it are available, kinda sucks but for the price I can't really bitch. It also plays DivX videos FYI, that's one of the reasons I went with this over other brands.

Here's mine in my DD, the interface is pretty basic and easy to figure out
