I think you're confusing sail with hatch. Unless you're wanting me to only use highs and a single sub?

Um, we meant no sails at all? Not sure why you'd think we meant to have a tweeter there.

By taking out my sails I would just have my front componants and a sub, which would eliminate about 25% of my sound, and my intire midrange (I have an aftermarket system with no trunk speakers)

IMO something isnt set up right if it sounds worse with no rear speakers. I know myself and dragonrage dont see eye to eye on everything but this is one thing I agree 100% on is the no rear speakers especially in a car like this. In an SUV ok rear fill for passengers but no need at all in an fbody, its a horriable location for speakers IMO. Solid components up front properly installed and a sub or subs in the back should make for a beautiful setup

I dissagree. While my components are installed correctly, and can take up the slack, it doesnt sound near as well without the mids.
