Default Shift light in deforst vent

Has anyone ever put like an LED shift light in the driver's side defrost vent on the A-pillar? If so, will to show me a pic and possibly how you ran the wires. Last time I was at the track I was up to +7000rpm, too high for comfort.

I don't have a pic, but it's easy to do. I bought the Raptor then took it to Home Depot or Lowe's and found a rubber grommet that fit around it and installed it in the defroster vent. Looks and works GREAT!

Wayne, is that you?

Anyway, here's a pic of my shiftlight installed in the defroster vent.

My car is my daily driver, so I put it in the center vents instead, that way my defroster still clears the window. I have a raptor in the center vent on the little mounting bracket they supply, the AC still blows right around it, been in there for 2 years now with no issues, nobody in the car ever sees it but me...just have to make sure that vent isn't aimed to the right because then I wouldn't see the light...but thats ok because when the AC is on (rarely, I like having the windows open in the summer) I want that vent pointed at me anyways.
