5 channel amp

I was looking at the PDX-5 alpine any other suggestions for the money?

The PDX5 looks like a great all-in-one amp. It's got plenty of power and it's TINY. Be aware that you must mount the PDX series horizontally for Alpine to warranty it. However, I've heard from owners who've mounted it vertically haven't had any problems. The Infinity Kappa 5 is also in that price/power/size class with good reviews as well as the MTX JH805 (although the power rating for the JH805 is lower, MTX underrates it's amps).

I was gonna say the kappa 5 also, but you cant go wrogn the pdx-5, unless you want more than just 300 watts for your sub.

Kicker 700.5 is what I run in my T/A. It's a very reliable amp for my needs. I've worked with the PDX-5 amp before...it's nice b/c of its smaller size but, Kenwood also has a mini-amp out there too; it's got the same power rating as the Alpine, but it's even smaller. If "size" is what matters most...go with the Kenwood. If the name on your amp is what tickles your fancy...look at Alpine. Otherwise...there are other options.
