http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W

For the low beams you're going to select the following options.
Wattage: 35 Watt
Bulb Type: 9006
Bulb Color: 8000K (or higher if you prefer)

This should be all you need to order from them for the low beams. However for the fog lights you'd select the following options...

Wattage: 35 Watt
Bulb type: 880
Bulb color: 8000K (or higher depending on what you prefer)

I hope this helps...

Default What to order

Fellas, I am a little confused. I have seen more than a few different parts numbers and bulbs for this conversion. What would i need as far as four sealed lamp housings with high/low beams and fog lights with bulbs? Please list by part number and where i need to order them from. Thx

slim ballast kit.. got it.. Thanks... Can I go with the 55W for the lows instead of the 35W..? Do I need a "dual in dual out" harness... What about an error eliminator..? I don't even know what the hell they do.. I'm sure it's been answered someplace b4 but again.. i'm on overload trying to figuer this out.

Part number 36-0302 (Outer headlights aka Low Beam)
Part number 36-0303 (Inner headlights aka High Beam)

If I'm not mistaking they both require 9006 bulbs. You don't necessarily need to purchase the inner headlights unless you're planning on running HIDs for high beams.

You can run the 55W kit however, it's been stated that you'd most likely need to run a resistor with this kit. With the 35W kit you wouldn't need to run any resistors. As far as the "dual in dual out" harness goes, I dont' think you need it due to the fact that the kit already comes with two ballasts, but then again maybe someone can chime-in in regards to possibly using this harness to simultaneously power your Low beam lights and Fog lights. Lastly, the error eliminator is not needed.

Thanks Zeke34... Very helpful...

Someone please correct me if i'm wrong but this is what I gather...

The 35W kits ($35.00 at DDMT) are plug and play while the 55W ($10 more) require the harness ($12.50 more)

Bulb color is your choice but 6000k seems to be most popular..

The housings are from LMC catalog.. #s 36-0302 (lows) & 36-0303 (highs)
the LMC site was down but it looked like $34.95 for EACH housing.. (??)

no special housing needed for the fogs. just change out the bulbs.

Here's a pic of how my buddy mounted his ballasts, myself on the other hand mounted mine directly below where he mounted his, in between the notch.

So an entire swap for low's and fogs would be around $160? I'm in a tight spot because I was just about to pull the trigger on the bls kit but it looks like when you get those housings you get the job done right. This is a tough one!

Which bulb color should I go for to get the brightest light on the road? I want the very white with just a hint of blue, not ricer overkill! lol I was thinking 7k? any advice is appreciated thanks

People often misunderstand the effect of color temperature of headlights. The more you move toward the blue end of the scale, the more glare but the less usable light. The lights look brighter because of the glare but are actually less effective. That's the reason OEM HIDs are in the 4000K to 5000K range.
