you will not be disappointed in them. I do recommend the hid from ddm tuning. They made a big difference as well.

I was considering installing HIDs into the LMC housings.

Are the ddm tuning kits plug and play without splicing ?

If you stay with the 35 watt it is plug and play. You would need a relay harness if going 55 watt but I recommend against that because of non projector style housings.

A bought my HID's from a local supplier. The lows and fogs are both 9006 35W 6000k bulbs in LMC low beam housing and factory fog housing.

The LMC kit comes with a male pigtail for each lamp you order. You'll have to add this to your factory harness to plug into the 9006 connector on the ballast. You can use butt connectors, male/female spade connectors or you could depin the factory connector and pin in the 9006 connector. I did the later.

There are few options out there.

Here's the beginning of this thread. Most of us are trying out the LMC sealed beam housings and DDM tuning 35watt ballast with 5k or 6k color temperature.

Another option which is very expensive is a complete plug and play HID kit with projectors and shields.

I ordered the lmc housings and hid kit, i received the housing and they look very nice. i can't wait till ddm ships the hid's out. I have heard that hid lights do not like to be flashed on and off. currently when i like lock my car with the key fob, my fog lights flash to signal that the car is locked. does anyone know how i can program the car so the fogs will not flash.

I know I can flip the switch off, but Iam looking to get a permanent fix. There is no way to program the lights not to flash?

You can't program just the fog lights flashing but you can program whether the parking lights (including the fog lights) flash. Instructions are in your owner's manual and posted here.

So are most of you guys ordering the lows and the highs, or just the lows? I figure since the lows will be bright enough with HIDs in there, why even get the highs? Is it so all the housings look identical?

And how are you guys putting HID's in the fogs. Are you just buying a 880 HID kit and using that, or is a special housing needed? thanks!
