Default So I finally did a DD setup...

Mind you I'm not 100% done, I still need to do work on that radio bezel, but for all intents and purposes its basically done.
Tell me whatcha think?
(AVIC-Z120BT)

Here is the sony setup that came with it when I bought the car...


and here is the Pioneer DD after installation, and some fabrication/modification


now.. if only I could get that dash re-wrapped lol.

looks good. I want to do this to both my C5 and my SS. Are you going to fab up the bezel yourself?

give us pics when its done.

Yeah, I was going to use a combination of crafts wood (you buy them at like Hobby Lobby, 1 CM x 1 CM or so..?)
JB Weld, and some bondo.
Lots of sanding, then some of that dash paint that O'rielly's sells
Otherwise the bezel is already cut up for DD's head requirement

6ltr sells a bezel like that but good job though looks good

I agree with you though. I wouldn't spend 150 buck when my dashpad needs replaced. The 6LE trim would make your dash stand out like silly.
