Default TCS harness for cut-out?

Hey everybody, I'm installing an electric cutout and I was looking for a power source. It doesn't matter if it's switched or not.. I would actually prefer not switched since I don't have any lights or anything for the cutout. I was going to originally splice into the power for the cigarette lighter, but then i noticed this piece coming out of the harness. I have a non-TCS car. Is that what this harness is for? If so, will the pink wire have power? I'm down at school and I don't have a multimeter down here, so I was hoping somebody could help me out. Also, which wire is the ground? If I could use this for my power source that would save me from having to hack into wires that are actually used.

TIA

PS- sorry for the picture quality. I didn't think to bring a real camera out.

I'm pretty sure that is in fact for the TCS, but I'm not 100%. What I do know though is that I wouldn't use that to power the cutout most likely. A cutout can draw a good bit of current I would think, and I can't see the TCS switch using the power wires for much more current than the light to light it up. I honestly am not too sure since its been a long time since I tore into the main harness in my car, but If I remember right, pink is gonna be switched, orange constant, black/white will be ground. I'd just be careful with using it for the power since the wire is only like 18 gauge I think.

thanks for the help! the wiring that goes out to the cutout is only about18 or 16 gauge, but i still might use the cigarette lighter power. it just would have been nice to not have to hack into anything thats actually being used.. though i have only used the lighter to throw at friends when its hot

got all the wiring in today.. also took out the entire center console to get rid of the cigarettes and found like $5 in change . for now i just used the power source for the cigarette lighter and capped the wires together. this will allow me to go back and do it the right way later.

as far as cutouts go, i went with a badlanzHPE, but most go with DMH, Race Ready, or QTP. with as much reading as i have done, i have heard just get the one with the longest warranty and best customer service. DMH has a 4 year warranty and race ready has lifetime warranties. QTP is only like a year i believe. the one i purchased has a 5 year warranty. going in tomorrow at 3 to have it installed.

at any rate, why not get a spare TCS switch and wire in the power and ground into the original one? place it next to the actual tcs switch and make it look stock.

my car doesn't have TCS, and i was originally posting to see whether or not those wires would have power to them or not. i'm guessing they just use the same harness for TCS and non-TCS cars. i'm going to eventually mount the switch right under the cigarette lighter once i go home and i can use my dremel. being at school sucks for working on stuff! i had two police officers stop and ask me what i was doing since i had the passenger seat and center console out of my car. probably looked like i was up to no good.

Personally, I think you should get the plate for the console and a convertible top switch. That way you can wire cutout to the vert top switch and have it look stock. Its not hard at all.
