Default Stealth install for electric cutouts

Alright, so, soon I will be installing 2 electric cutouts and I'm brainstorming ways of installing the controller.

I won't be using the bulky stock controller so my first thought was to wire them up to a momentary switch mounted in an ash tray panel.

However, I just thought of an even stealthier install and was wondering if it was possible.

Here is my proposed idea:

Wire the cutouts up to the power side mirror controls.

Question is, could the switch that selects driver and passenger side view mirrors be used to "select" the cutouts in the neutral position and use the up/down buttons to open/close the cutouts?

i have a better/cooler idea i want to do. if i could figure out a way to wire it into the volume controls on the steering wheel i would do it so when you press the volume up button, the cutouts open and when you press it down, they close.

for your window switch idea, i think the window switches have 5 wires going to them but idk what they are for i have an idea but i dont want to give the wrong info

That's cool, but I use my volume controls to control my volume.

You can use a convertible button to control cutouts and put it in the door panel by map pockets.

Oops, I meant to say the power SIDE VIEW mirrors. And my proposed idea would be to have the cutouts controllable with the switch that designates driver side and passenger side view mirror in the neutral position.

This is a good idea. Add 2 extra switches, one for each cutout. Or one switch that when pull it up it opens one, when you push it down it closes that same one and then to open the second one push the switch towards the front and to close it you would push it towards the rear. Or however you wanted to wire it.

Not sure why they need to be super stealthy though. You could just put switches in the ash tray or the center console. Now if it were a nitrous switch I could see the reason to hide.
