So over the last couple weeks I have been working on this amp rack that hides the amp but still has a stock appearence and using the stealth box to house the sub. SO after some practice and attempts I came up with this board that sits on the lip that surrounds that rear trunk drop down.. And since I have no T-Tops it wouldn't get in the way of anything. I made raised letters wrapped in vinyl and found carpet that matches the best i could find ( I actually think I am going to re wrap my sub box to match). But just wanted to see what you guys think!

Thanks everyone! i have thought about either putting a small fan in the corner and powering it through the amp but it is ventilated a little on the back side with some clearance between the board and the plastic panel. I've never heard of it being bad to turn an amp upside down, but I don't want to burn up my amp either! Ill have to do some research
As for building and selling them, I would have to see how much time I would have in one because it would be a lot faster to build than the first one plus the cost of materials. I would have to know if someone was really interested in one so I could get a price! So let me know!

Notes:
-The vast majority of amps are fine to install upside down if there's airflow - the heat will be drawn out by the metal casing regardless as long as it has a place to go - if you've got it sealed (or close to sealed) under this board then it's not okay in ANY orientation
-Make sure that any fans you use are NOT sleeve bearing... you want ball bearing, Maglev, or FDB (fluid dynamic bearing) fans only. A local store might have ball bearing fans... but most are sleeve bearing. Those will die very quickly if you install them horizontally (blowing up or down).

I'd recommend not putting anything electronic on the floor. I found out the hard way. Started raining one day and my car was outside, somehow water seeped into my trunk. Damn that cheap weatherstripping!
