12 disc monsoon cd changer

12 disc monsoon cd changer i have a 1999 Z28 and i am looking in to purchasing a stock monsoon 12 disc cd changer out of a 2001 camaro and i was wondering if i would have any compatibility issues?
If you have a CD HU there might be a problem with it controlling it. The late 99's CD HU would work the changer but the early ones would not. My CD HU was manufactured in 12/98 (tag on radio) and it would not control it. 2000 and up should all work fine as well as the cassette HU.

ok well i found a 12 disc changer out of a 99 for a $150 with shipping included so this probably would be my best bet and work with the head unit i have?

The system is in excellent condition! I took it out becaue I put in a Kenwood mp3/cd system, and none of the monsoon stuff will work with an aftermarket stereo. I am not really trying to sell it, but I will for the price I quoted.

I have one bracket. That is all that was on it when I received it. As stated above the wiring harness is behind the panel on the drivers side in the trunk! All you have to do is plug it in! Someone sent me $75.00 via paypal this morning, but did not include shipping. The first 83.50 takes it!
