Default New style factory radio in 2000 camaro

Will the new style delco or bose or whatever it is radio, work in our camaros? I dont wanna put an aftermarket radio in , i just dont like the way they look, and would love to put this new one in my camaro.

the only factory stereo that works in camaros come in camaros and corvettes only.

You probably could get it to work but would have to cut and wire up the harness. The other thing is it may have minute size differences that dont allow it to fit. Its worth a try if you have a newer radio sitting around.

Its a factory radio, same one thats in the 2003+ corvettes, and all new GM automobiles, ill give it a whirl and keep ya updated.

Maybe true, but I welded a bracket for a GMC Sierra cdplayer, and it worked fine (not exacly factory.....)
