As has been mentioned several times in this thread (and dozens of others) there is a fix in the BCM that takes care of those symptoms. A search would have found it but here you go: https://ls1tech.com/forums/general-l...blems-fix.html

Have you checked the dark blue wire at the BCM as suggested earlier?

No, that was my response and you were told that the BCM fix discussed in that thread wasn't related to your problem. Nobody said it wasn't a BCM problem just that it wasn't that particular BCM problem. Quite the opposite... the thread discusses fixing radio and windows cutting out intermittently whereas your radio won't shut off.

Somehow you are getting constant (battery) power on a wire that should have retained accessory power (RAP). The RAP circuit is controlled by the BCM so your first step is to find out if the BCM is producing constant power on the RAP output wire. If it is then the BCM is the problem. If it isn't then somebody has messed with the wiring to the radio.

thank you for your help. Went to find the BCM behind the glove box could not find anything there. It looks like a circuit board from a computer ?? thanks

No, the BCM is a black box about the size of a paperback book with three connectors plugged into it. You have to remove it and open it up to get to the solder joints on the circuit board.
