I got Kickers DS65.2 and DS693 speakers for Christmas! But I don't know where to put the tweeters. I searched here and there wasnt much. And when I google it every site has the same ideas, with no pictures, and no comparison on which is better. I was thinking just to flush mount them in the top air vents on the far sides of the dash. So any ideas and pictures are welcome

Short of making tweeter pods yourself, this is only option.

These mount in place of the plastics triangles by door mirrors.
Not sure if your tweeters fit snug into these pods.

Here... there is a guy that has them mounted in the tweeter pods, and a guy with them mounted in the doors. Also with them in the sail panels too.

Not sure if that is what your looking for or what...

Yes Thank You! The ones in the door is what I figured I might have to do and this just reinforces it.

Before you start installing speakers... do you have the factory Bose system in that 95 Camaro? If so, there are lots of other things you will have to do just to make the speakers work.

The Bose system uses a specially designed head unit that produces low voltage, high impedance signal (similar to headphone signal) which is sent to three or five speakers with individual amps attached. The system uses common ground wiring rather than the more standard floating ground setup.

The simplest way to make aftermarket speakers work is to replace the head unit and run your own wiring to the speakers. You must run your own wiring because of the difference between common ground and floating ground configurations.

Another option is to cut the Bose speakers from their amps and wire in replacements. Unfortunately, the original Bose speakers are 1-ohm so there are very few replacements on the market that will work well. Aside from the fact that your Kicker DS693s are 6x9 and you have no 6x9 mounting points in the car, both those models of Kickers are 4-ohm so you would cut output power to one quarter if you try to wire them to the Bose amps. The Bose amps attached to the door speakers produce only 25 watts each so you end up with only 6 watts per channel - about half of what a good aftermarket head unit can produce on its own.

Theres already an aftermarket hu. As for the 6x9 that was my mistake, I bought them as a package and it said it fit. But it must have just been refering to the the fronts haha. So basically I need to ditch the bose amps if there still there. And get an aftermarket amp or should my hu support it? The head unit is a Dual XDM7510 its 55 watts x 4 channels. It came with the car. Thank You for stopping me before I got started with a mess and then realized it.

If there was already an aftermarket head unit in the car then there is a good chance that it was also rewired by the previous owner. In that case you would only need to install the 6.5" round speakers and find some new ones to replace the 6x9 speakers.
