I assume you can only pan the audio left and right now. I can't think of any android music player that will fade front and back being that most apps are designed for stereo listening. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you lose that feature with this setup?

you are right about the music player only have balance, but depending on how you set things up there are 2 possibilities:

1. If you have the tablet run into the aux in of an aftermarket HU (like on the other tablet thread) then you still retain fading with the HU (that is hidden away somewhere).

2. If you go straight from tablet to amp inputs (like here) then it is simply a matter of adjusting the front vs rear gain controls of a 4 channel amp to reach the desired "fade".

You can also use a 4channel line driver with line-level adjustments.

So if you're going from the tablet's head phone out (amplified, right?) to the amp, doesn't it distort at higher volumes from all the amplification, or am I missing something?

Nope, as long as you use a good line driver. I haven't had any distortion issues.

I realize I'm digging this up from the grave, but how did you connect the PAC interface with the Tablet? Directly to the amp?
