99 WS6 Gauges, odometer Help
Hello I have a low mileage 99 WS6. I wanted to put a custom background on my gauges, but I wanted to use a used cluster. I then found out there is no way of adjusting the odmeter. That way I can keep the original. I thought that the main ECU held the odometer info. How do they adjust the odometer when you buy a new factory replacement cluster. Do I have to get it done at a dealer? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Its really hard to screw up if you follow the directions. It's a hell of a lot easier than what you did to take the pictures above!
The needles just pull off the shafts and the face peels away. All you need to do is go through the procedure to index the needles so you can put them back at the correct orientation.
I did the same and put my old face back in the box the new one came. (In case its the difference of my car being worth $5K or $150K someday. lol)

Cluster face change?
Those picture aren't of mine. Someone else posted them. I have never taken it apart. Just don't want to mess up the original. Thanks for the input. Has anyone that has changed their cluster face damaged theirs.
