Sub in 2002 F Body?
I have two 12in JL W6s that I used to have in my BMW sitting here still, but looks like if I wanna put in a stealth box I am down to a single 10 in the Camaro.
I have never had subs in a hatchback car always had to drive them through the trunk and needed more to get it done.
I guess my question is what a single 10 in a hatch back is like. I used to have way to much in my BMWs with the 12s but I would rather have too much than not enough. I can always turn it down. Just dont wanna buy the 10 then be underwhelmed.
Also I have always stayed away from 10s as I like the sound of 12s more they seem to have alot more range than just SPL.
Just thought I would ask someone that has some experience with subs in this car. The car currently has the stock head unit and Boston Acoustics speakers. I will one day rip them out for some Focals but they are decent for now. Just need some bass haha.
140db with a pair of subs that cost me 220 and an amp that cost me 150 (these parts where brand new) I have since upgraded to a more powerful amp but still run these subs.
please excuse the half-*** job on the fiberglass work, it was my fist time working with stretching fleece.

I had 2 10" w6 on 2 500/1 in my RT Dakota in a slot ported box... it slammed for what it was(they came in stealth boxes for under your backseat of a gm truck) and they were twice as loud and deep in my custom box.
JL audio also makes a line called TMA ... junk subs but they make a box that covers you whole trunk for 2 12s... not sure if the w6 will fit in it or not. ..
