Default Kee Audio

Has anyone heard from or purchased speakers from Kee Audio lately? Ive called them multiple times this week with no answer and a few times got a recording that stated "not taking calls" like the phone was off. I emailed them yesterday before lunch and havent gotten a response as of yet. Looking at their profile here it looks like they havent been active in a while. Im suffering from the blown monsoon speaker syndrome and wanting to buy a full replacement set for the camaro based on the reviews here, but concerned about not being able to contact them. Other posts rave about how good they are to deal with and how well they communicate - so im wondering if something has happened - i hope not I need those speakers, that buzzing sound is making me crazy!

Kee Audio is a one-man operation, so Ian will unplug from time-to-time when he goes on vacation. (It's that time of year.)

Maybe we can help you with your questions while he's out?

Just bought the bazooka subs from him, fast shipped and he responded to one of my emails so I think you are fine.

Thanks for the info - I was unaware that it was a one man operation. Hopefully he will contact me soon then. I'm not one to let something that's off with the car sit for long - I like to get it fixed right away. Just didn't want to be waiting around for them if they were no longer in business. I frankly was more worried that I would have to try to figure out something else.

Ian also gets backed up with email from time to time and I recall orders get processed before questions. (He gets a lot of questions from people who never buy anything.)

If you have a technical question you need answered, you might bet a faster response here, along with testimonials from people who have the equipment installed.

I just got and installed a level 2 system for my Trans Am, wiring wasn't that difficult, did it myself, tell ya what, that system is worlds better than OEM. I love it.

I bought a level 2.5 package from him about a month ago. No issues. I did my order completely online though.

I'm waiting for the subs to come back in stock and that's what I plan on getting as well.

Is the kit plug and play? Debating on getting level 1 or 2.

Same deal, called and never got a response and all I want is tracking on my order I placed.

Hopefully its just because he is busy/on vacation and my order shows up before I can even inquire about about tracking again.

I do have a question though. I bought the level 2 package. I have the monssom amp. At max volume, is there any danger of blowing any of the speakers? The last thing I want is to damage an actual good quality speaker. The unit itself is a Pioneer double dinn unit but I'm not sure of the exact model.

I noticed it's almost impossible to get a hold of him by telephone. He responds to emails pretty quickly though.

I haven't seen anyone having problems with shipments. Kee Audio is in business and Ian doesn't gouge us on prices. So, he doesn't get any benefit from people calling him up, getting his advice, and then either deciding to go somewhere else for the purchase or deciding to do nothing at all.

If you put the money down, you should get what you need.

Got my order in today. With the Monsoon amp, is there any chance of me damaging these speakers at high volumes? The head unit is a Double Dinn Pioneer.

no not that I have noticed... the Monsoon Amp would probably get damaged before the speakers
