Ill get it figured out, Im so dang busy I havent had much time to work with it. I want to get a Y adapter as well.
What I found on mine in my truck is after I power cycle the radio I have to unpair then pair to the OBDII adapter to get it to work again. A bit weird, a bit inconvenient, but whatever.

That is kind of odd. Mine works every time, I load Torque about once a week and never had that issue, even with the Y adapter to my Intercepter gauge. What brand BT OBD2's are ya'll using?

Here's the one I use. Works fine for Torque on my radio, but doesn't work for Dash Command which I think is the radios fault, not the reader, because it they both work on my phone.

It is a BAFX.

I don't have this issue when using it with my phone or tablet. Every time I go to use it on my phone and I open Torque it bugs me to enter the PIN (1234). On my Android unit in my truck it never asks for a PIN, so can't help but wonder if that is the reason for the odd glitch.

I feel you there, I HATE math. Always have and always will. Calculus about killed me in college, it was the only class I barely passed by the skin of my teeth, but had to take 2 of them for my degree. I don't miss my college days!

Haha, but it is Monday after all, lol.

I'm using a BAFX, I kind of wonder if maybe the BT OBD2 is the issue? Assume your phone connects and all that fine still?

Phone has no issue connecting. I have access to alldata right now but dont feel like looking. Is the OBD port powered at the fuse box?

The reason I ask, is because my phone wont connect now either, and the power light is off on the BT

I'm not sure where it's powered from honestly. I wonder if that brand BT OBD2 just doesn't play well with the headunit. No reason why it shouldn't but electronics can always be finicky sometimes too

I think the OBDII port is powered via the cig lighter socket fuse.

Do you guys know what the difference is between some of these Joying units? Such as the JL-UY124, JL-UY135, JL-UQ130...they all seem to be the same?

Got it figured out, disconnected and reconnected after a power cycle and it works now.

Yeah, well its not my week. I woke up to a Low Oil Light on my Dash, and this in the driveway. I changed out my oil pan gasket about a month ago. Haven't had any issue with oil leaking since...and then this. Car and Motor only have 52k miles.....

My rear main leaks and leaves spots all over my garage floor. I just don't feel like yanking it all apart for that, I'll wait until something blows up and just deal with it until then. It doesn't lose oil all that fast though, so to get a low oil light is a bit of a concern.

Problem with cars that get older even if the miles are low - some gaskets and seals don't care how many miles they've been on the road, age just gets to them anyway. Kind of like you and me, the older I get the more my parts start complaining

I inspected my alot of that not that long ago when I had the tranny out last, but who knows sometimes even good seals just go...or they look good but are still ****. One thing did occur the other day I was picking my wife up from her work and the last speed bump was bigger then the rest. I didn't see it as we were leaving the underground garage and it hit pretty hard. I have access to both two and four post lifts but no time to get the car on them. So I might just have to suck it up butter cup, put it on jackstands and crawl around on the garage floor..lol...they give a ASE out for that? Because I only need like 5 more to get my Master Tech Cert...lol

As a Side note, the other spots are coolant from burping my system. The small leaks...well thats new they are the first oil stains my car has ever left, so im hoping its not a rear main or pan gasket...ugh..my knees and back...where am I? Is this tapioca pudding? Also, I've been a member since like around 2008 All my accounts got hacked and no one from the site has gotten back to me about accessing my original account....lol

After about 9 months finally decided on a reverse camera. I have my 99 led plate light so my choices were limited. I ha e wires ran for it all already when I installed the sub just need to install this now and see how it looks. Only thing I'm concerned about is my plate light being too bright. I suppose if looks good, I can always turn off headlights when I put in reverse at night
