Default PROBLEM: Output Converter

ok im pretty sure i did this wrong.
I went to best buy got a adjustable line out converter so i can could have RCA hookup to the stock deck. It came with 6 wires: grey+, grey/black- what plugs into right speaker output, white+, white/black- which goes to left speaker output, and two brown wires.
I used the wires from the stokc deck and wired these together:
grey-dark blue
grey/black-light blue
white-brown
white/black-yellow
I also ran a wire from my amp to the pink wire for a remote
im pretty sure i totally jacked things up. any help would be greatly appriciated

What year F-Body? If it's a newer 4th Gen here are the color codes found on Fbodyaudio.com's tech section:

Headunit wiring harness
Pin#............Color.................Function
1...............Grey..................Front Left Speaker -
2...............Tan...................Front Left Speaker +
3...............Dark Green............Front Right Speaker -
4...............Light Green...........Front Right Speaker +
5...............Black.................Ground
6...............Brown.................Illumination
7...............Grey..................Dimmer
8...............Pink..................Power Antenna
9...............Yellow................12V Ignition
10..............Orange................12V Constant
11..............NA....................NA
12..............NA....................NA
13..............NA....................NA
14..............Dark Blue.............Steering Wheel Controls
17..............Light Blue............Right Rear Speaker -
18..............Dark Blue.............Right Rear Speaker +
19..............Yellow................Left Rear Speaker -
20..............Brown.................Left Rear Speaker +

So you should hook up the LT green to the gray wire, Dark Green to the gray/blk, Tan to white, and Gray to white/blk. It is recommended that you hook up both brown wires to ground. Good lock, and post back with your results!

It depends what you are hooking up, I would use rears if you are hooking up a sub. oh, and BTW, don't use the pink wire for your remote, unless you only want the amp on when the radio is on. Use the Yellow wire instead.

the 12v ignition is the yellow wire he's talking about. so we should use the REAR speakers - basically splice the adapter up EXACTLY how he said he did it, right?

what exactly are you doing? how did you plug in your rca cables on the converter? does it matter how they plug in? the ones on my converter are not color coated, so i have no clue what to do. just plug them in any way?
