Replacing factory speakers
TIA
Here's what it says about Firebird speakers: "Firebird coupes have component 6.5S (6.5" oversize) 2-ohm mids and .75" 4-ohm tweeters mounted separately in the doors, dual voice coil 6.5S (4-ohm + 4-ohm) subs mounted in the sail panels (beside the rear seat), and component 4" 4-ohm mids and .75" 4-ohm tweeters mounted separately in the hatch area. The two door mids and two hatch mids account for four of the eight channels of the amp while the DVC subs account for two channels each to make up the other four channels. This leaves the front and rear tweeters to be powered directly by the head unit."

The Kenwood components you bought will do quite nicely in the doors. Just put the included crossover back in the box and use the factory separate mid and tweeter wiring to hook up the components - the tweeter wires already have inline high pass filters from the factory.
The 4" coaxials you got for the hatch area will also work well, especially since they're only there for rear fill and not as a primary sound source. Juts make sure you connect them to the original mid wiring and leave the tweeter wires disconnected.
That leaves only getting the sail panel subs. There are several options depending on budget but the Bazookas seem to be a very popular choice.
