My question is will I need a on off switch for amps to protect my pioneer avh-4200nex HU? What’s the best on off transmitter if I do need on off switch?

two amps will be fine on the head unit remote wire output.
That’s what I was thinking. Hu should have enough to turn on and off. What remote wire are you using? Looking for a remote splitter type wire if they make it.

i just have a couple spools of wire that I cut to length what I need.......nothing special...just wire....
