Default How to disable TCS switch?

I know I did this many years ago. I just can't remember how I did it. Been searching the website but have not found what I am looking for. I want to replace the panel that holds the TCS switch with the deep storage box AND I want the car to start with TCS off. How can I do that? I have made this same mod on Toyota's and Lincoln Town Cars but it's been years and I just can't remember how I did it on the Trans am. I did pull the switch panel off, looked at the wire harness, and decided to ask here before doing anything further. I had GM service manual for my Camaro and Firebird that have been sold, and the manuals with them. Uggg. Should have kept the manuals. LOL.
PS, I think it's just a matter of jumping a couple of wires in the harness, but I just don't remember.

It's just a switch on the panel that interrupts the connection and is wired together using two wires. Wires together and the TCS is enabled and wires apart and TCS is disabled or vice versa I'm not sure about which is which but like I said it's just a switch.

There are 4 or more wires going to the TCS switch. It can't be that simple.

This is the back of a 98-02 Fbody Traction Control Switch so it looks like it is only two wires.

Took these pics of the switch and wire harness in my 2002 trans am. It's different than what you posted, but maybe the difference could be an Automatic vs Manual trans? I need a wire diagram.

The extra wires are merely for the indicator light and switch illumination. The functional part is a momentary switch connecting the brown/white wire from electronic brake control module (EBCM) to the black/white wire which goes to a chassis ground. Connecting those two wires together should achieve what you're looking for although I don't know if the EBCM might freak at a constant ground on what is expected to be a momentary ground signal (I doubt it would be a problem but it is possible).

This is the issue I had with the Town Car performance package. I permanently jumped the connections ( the switch was inside the glove box where it was hard to access) and drove the car for 5 or 6 years like that. Worked fine.

For a quick test just run a jumper wire between those mentioned wires on the connector and see if that dosen't solve it for you.

Will try that before cutting and soldering new wire. Thanks. It would still be nice to have a wire diagram.

SLP used to make a switch that started the car with the TCS in the off position.

SLP used to make a little module to reverse the TCS switch. You just pop the cover off the TCS switch and plug the module in between the switch and the harness, simple as hell. Then the setting is always off instead of always on. The light on the dash will still light up and the switch will still work like normal, you turn it on as needed. I have one and wouldn"t give it up. Something like this:
