Default HID's? Xenon? who has these in their Trans Am

howdy, my stock headlights suck and so do my foglights, i can't see anything at night with them, i think i might of hit a possum the other night j/k just a lil TX humor....

but anyways i've seen this dude on ls1.com selling these 'SuperWhite' bulbs but he doesn't make any high/low's for the Trans Am, i guess it's b/c our housing is fixed and we can't just interchange bulbs like you Camaro guys, so how much am i looking at and what's a good brand/company to go with?

i know that REAL HID's cost a lot of money so i don't think i can afford that (not now anyways) but i'm looking for some that 'simulate' the HID look...i don't want anything too ricy blue looking but just something sublte and nice (like what some Acuras/Lexus have)

thanks!

Silverstars are not out for our cars yet. Only the fog lights.

Just a word of advice... do NOT buy those "super white" fancy dancy Bullshit bulbs... they are actually WORSE than factory lights.

http://www.danielsternlighting.com/

everyone interested in upgrading headlights should read that site... I believe he also has great quality Cibie lights that will fit our cars... and he reccomends silverstar bulbs

I have them in my fogs.
One of the originals went out, so I put in Silverstars.
They are a bit whiter and at least as bright.
Are they worth it...its up to you. I thought they were worth it, but thats a subjective question. They are brighter and whiter but not all that dramatic a difference. They are low wattage fog lights after all.

The Camaro bulb is the same as the Firebird bulb except that it has a right-angle base instead of a straight one. The 37W bulb is #893 for the Firebird and #894 for the Camaro.

I am in the process of replacing my shitty lights with a Xenon HID setup...I just have to find the right backing to make it look right. There is a guy on here who did it, but his backing is kinda bare and looks kinda shitty. I think I can do it for around 200 bucks.

I just had installed on my 2000 TA, WS6 Real HID lights from eurolights.com It's the 6000k and they are one of my sweetest mods!! I'm suprised the cutoff pattern isn't as bad as I was fearing.. No brights by other cars yet..

i would DEFINITELY go with the sylvania silverstars, these are incredible bulbs, got them in my camaro. the light coming from them is so white it actually almost looks like HID's. i am very impressed with these bulbs and have zero regrets
