Thanks for posting. Looks like some interesting reading next time I feel like punishing myself by taking on a project like that!

I never thought of using just regular cheap cloth to make a rough covering before laying the glass... all my stuff i tried to piece together cunks of glass over the form.. this works out way better. I love how the mentioned where to get all the stuff too... I never knew where to get two part fiberglass resin...... and i feel like an idiot not looking around a marine supply place

You can use fleece that you can get from any o'l Cloth/Sewing store. Hell, I've seen fleece in Walmart before.

Grill Cloth doesn't work worth ****, Thin Fleece and Thick fleese are both fine, They just eat up a bunch of Resin. Select Products has a Micro-fleece that is just awesome. That fleece he was using looked like it. I've been trying to find it somewhere else, because of the $$ select charges for that stuff.

LOL. I've even gone thru clothing ilse's to see if a Shirt looks like good cloth and then look @ the tag to see what it is.

It looks easy enough man, I'd say go for it seeing as how you arent going to spend a HUGE amount of money and you'd save alot!
