If you want a hassle-free kit, buy a Metra kit. IMO American International and Best kits are garbage.

Metra makes the best kits but they offer different ones for the same vehicle most of the Big Box stores carry the cheap ones and most the specialy car audio stores carry the nicer kits.

I've seen them and I'm not real impressed with the fitment. I forgot about the humounts. If I wanted it to say Trans Am WS6 would it be a custom quote and would have to contact them? Kinda confusing on the order form there.

I have contacted them in the past and will order one soon. Any type of custom lettering or emblem etc...all you have to do is send them a picture of what you want via email and they will respond in a day or so and quote you a price. I wanted to get the Z06 style LS1 badge and they said they could modify it to work.

I couldn't make one out of mdf, but I'm sure somebody could. The humounts are nice! I emailed them my request a few days ago but no response yet. If I order just the Trans Am/Firebird option with red lamps and black texture and no custom options does it say Trans Am or Firebird or both? And does it come with the Trans Am font?
