If you buy a stock cd changer you are going to pay a lot of money. I would buy a good aftermarket cd changer.

I'd love to get one that plays MP3's also, but I can't seem to find one that will work with the stock head unit and controls... Any suggestions?

eBay or here for a used stocker, around 75 bucks.

The only MP3 one that is compatible is called a Neochanger and it's a POS. If you wanna try it Target.com sells them but it is a very bad piece of hardware. I tried every MP3 format/disc/compression/burner combo I had and barely got it to play an MP3.

For the same money you can get an aftermarket deck with MP3 capability and be done with it. Drops right in with a standard harness, monsoon and all.

I have the Neochanger but I never turned the switch on the transfer box to play MP3's. I have alot of dics' so I play just CD's. But it works badass 2 years now.
It is slow changing songs/CD's compared to my stock 12 disc in my SS, but it works just fine and works with everything like the steering wheel controls.

Peace,
Craig.
