Which headunit is better? Which would you recommend?

or

I think most people here dont like sony, but the CD signal-to-noise ratio is way higher than the pioneer, or are there other stats I should look at?
Or if there are any other headunits that you would recommend that could be had for less than $200 I would love to hear it.
I would like one with red or white backlights like the ones listed because they come closer to matching the rest of the car. But I am willing to look at anything if it is a better product.

look into alpines, like the cda-9846 nice options great sound and you can change the buttons led's to match whatever, i have mine set to red and it matches my interior perfect at night, also the display is bright white. these are going for like 180 or so. I love mine, plus it has a great ipod interface
dont get the sony, I have roughly 1 customer every week coming back because their sony Volume control is screwed up or the FORWARD button is now their volume button, or their volume goes up and down when it wants to....... Do yourself a favor and go to CIrcuit City and Pick up a Pioneer or Eclipse. If u get the eclipse that retails for 200$ or higher, IT is gauranteed and covered for failure AND THEFT, YES THEFT. IF someone steals it, you file a police report and Eclipse will send u a new deck, free of charge because of their CD KEY lockup feature.

I'd stick with either the Pioneer or look into the Alpines. Sony makes alot of good things, I just don't think their car audio products live up to the Sony name.
