Default Lots of HUMount Pictures (install) 56K slow-slow

Not sure how many of you have seen these, but I like it alot!

Anyway, I've ordered one this past week and can't get ahold of the company (www.humount.com) either e-mail or phone. They run about 75 bucks shipped w/customized lettering. Starting to get concerned. Anyone else order recently and have no problems or any problems? Thanks!

Duff

Oddly enough, got a phone call about 20 minutes ago for my unit . . .I said UNIT. . .

Anyway, he's building it tomorrow and shipping Wednesday most likely. Thanks!

One thing you need to do...paint black or wrap electrical tape around the white plastic piece that gets "lit" up...that will prevent any other light from coming through, like on mine before I fixed it.

I also only remember paying $45 back in December

I requested blue (+15) customized (+10) lettering to simply read "C A M A R O" to match EXACTLY the rear panels on the car (without the little tabs holding the extra parts of the As or O. . .
He said it was a PITA, but thats why they charge extra right?

how easy are these to instal?? and the lighted ones, did you get the led bar form them or did you have it done another place?? ive been thinking about these as i have a new headunit sitting in my garage waiting to go in i just didnt want the ugly plastic that most companys have as an install kit, this is a much beter option

I have pics of the aluminum one here. http://richw.cz28.com/photo4.html

Very easy to install. I spliced the power and ground to the ilumination and ground wires on my deck. Now the light comes on with the headlights. I also noticed the blue "bar" of light coming from above the deck like in the pic above. I took the mount back out and glued a piece of carpet from my amp rack to the plastic mount above the opening. Problem solved. The only issue I had with the install was the RCA cables coming out of the back of the deck were hitting the back wall of the opening and it wouldnt go in all the way. I was preparing for a battle to get it to fit but it went in without a problem the second time I put it in.

I'll definitely get pics posted. Requested lettering like the one above that doesn't have the bars in the As and O (the SLP modeled one)
and got notification yesterday from HUMount it's en route. . .
and as for CVN70. . . .did my 4 full years there. . .
Go hug Dallas (RE Div)... He's feeling down.
