Default Need Advice

Hey guys i need some advice on the new system im working on. Lets say im not to educated with this stuff but i always like to do the work myself.

I got this headunit in the car to start with
Kenwood - 50W x 4 MOSFET iPod™/Sirius Radio-Ready CD Deck with G-Analyzer Display KDC-MP732
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1134701325240

Then i got these speakers for the front doors
Infinity - Reference 6-1/2" 2-Way Component Car Speakers w/ Plus One Woofer Cone (Pair) REF6010CS
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1140392384331

Then i got these for the ones next to the rear seats
Infinity - Reference 6-1/2" 2-Way Car Speaker with Plus One Polypropylene Cone (Pair) REF6012I
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1140392384625

My plan is to get rid of the rear speakers in trunk and the tweeter with it and also get rid of the delco amp that went with the monsoon system since it was broken anyways. I am wondering if the headunit will be able to handle these speakers that i want it to play and will it sound good. Or will i have to get a 4 channel amp and what kind would work best if i had to. I already started putting this together and any help is appreciated

Just get a 2-channel amp to power the 6.5 components and 6.5 speakers.

I'd think you'd want to get a 4-channel amp to drive your speakers. I noticed the Kenwood HU puts out 22W RMS, yet the speakers are designed for 60W rms and 90W rms. The question is: Will they be loud enough being driven directly off the HU?

Also, if you changed you mind and decided to add an amplifier later, you'd have to re-wire the car twice. As you'd want to run RCA cables between your HU and amp.

I am no expert by any means, but I would at least go with a 2 channel amp for the front, and run the rear off the HU. Or if you could budget it a small 4 channel amp for the 4. This would also allow you for easier upgrade so you wouldn't have to run RCA's later. If possible you will want to get an amp that has the the same RMS output as the speakers recommend.

If you are ok with buying used, I'd get a 5 channel amp and be done with it.

FYI if you are 100% opposed to using an aftermarket amp, those infinities will sound better wired up (appropriately) to a monsoon amp than just your head unit amp. I would pay the $20 for a replacement monsoon amp before bothering with the cost and time to run new wiring to the speakers from the h/u.

Head unit amps are very weak.
