Thats going to be alot more work than its worth. Best bet would be to buy an aftermarket cd player.

As long as the 'Vette head unit is 1.5 DIN (and I'm pretty sure it is) it will work. You will probably have to buy the two side mounting brackets. They may come off the original radio on a 95 but they don't on newer models. You can get them in an aftermarket mounting kit or for about $4 each from the dealer. The harness should plug right in - GM used the same harness from the mid 80s through 02.

I dont know how much different it is, but i just tried to install a bose unit from my dads 04 vette into my 95z (to replace the bose in it)--same exact connector but it wouldnt power on. The vette has an extra plug (probably for power??) so BOSE conversion def does not work, good luck w/ the delco though!!

I am a bit confused here ,the delco radio has no bose inscription on the display but thespeakers are bose, from the vette that I am not going to use, I leave my stock speakers in my 95 trans am and will plug the player in and conect the changer-------> would it work????thx

Yes, it should still work. The newer Bose systems are much like the Monsoon - the head unit is standard but the speakers/amps are what make it unique. That wasn't true of the older (mid-90s) Bose systems. The older Bose systems used special high-impedance, low-level output to run speakers with individual amps connected to them.
