Default Anyone use this digital guage?

I was looking at this aeroforce interceptor guage. Shows a lot of parameters and has a shift light too. Plugs into OBDII port. Anyone use this thing or know how well they work?

I suspect a majority of people use a gauge pod on the a-pillar. Wireing isn't tough at all!!! Just routing it nicely so it doesn't damage it or being seen. A guess would be from the a-pillar under into the dash, across behind the instruments, behind the radio, behind the glovebox and then out over by the air conditioner box. . . simple

I just ordered 2 of them with an a-pillar mount set up. if u order 2 gauges it comes with a connector so the 2 get plugged into a y and the end of that goes to obd2 port. question for duff? these get plugged into the obd2 port which is located right under the steering wheel alittle off center but not much why would you run the wires they way you said are you thinking they get plugged into the pcm?

Do any sponsors carry this item? That thing monitors tons of items.

The site says it reads SES codes but can you clear them with this device?

Ok Just Mounted These Gauges. It Was Very Easy Run The Wires Inside The A-pillar Dual Gauge Mount That The Gauges Sit In. There Is Plenty Of Room For The Wirse Just Get Your Lenght Then Rap Then To Keep Them Nice And Tight. Run The Wires Down And In Between The Door Jam And The Inside Of Your Dash Board. There Is A Little Piece Of Molding That Runs To The Right Of The Weather Stripping Move That A Little And Put All Wires In That Space. If Done Right You Can't See Anything. Main Plug Goes To Obd2 Port No Problem There At All. You Do Have To Run 2 Red Wires To A Fuse For Power. (1 If U Have Only One Gauge) The Directions Are Very Easy To Follow. Pick Up Something Called "add A Fuse" At A Local Parts Store For About 10 To 15 Bucks. Tap Into The Instrument Fuse Thats What I Did. The Add A Fuse Is Easy. First Take Out The Fuse That The Add A Fuse Will Be Pluged Into. Plug In The Add A Fuse In Its Place. Then Plug 2 10amp Fuses Into The Add A Fuse. At The End Of The Add A Fuse Is A Red Wire With A Connector Run The 2 Or 1 Red Wire(s) To It Crimp It Then Tape It For Extra Strength. The White And Green Wires Are For Ananlog Monitoring Purposes I Just Wired Tied Them And Put Them Out Of The Way For Now Don't Cut Them Off Very Important The Do Alot Read About Them In Manual. Tuck Wires Neatly Pull Snug To Get Slack Out And Put Fuse Panel Cover Back On. Start Car And Follow Directions And Enjoy These Gagues Rock Very Glad I Got Them. Going To Track On Wednesday To Set The Performance Option This Gauge Will Tell U 0-60 Times As Well As 1/8 And 1/4 Mile Times Whan To See How Close To Track Times It Is. Will Post To Let You Know. Good Luck Man. Hope It Was A Help To You.

Being it doesn't have a gyroscope...wondering how accurate the 0-60 & 1/4 mile times are. Tire spin could be a problem with actual calculations on the 1/4...

I'm also wondering how it calculates horsepower.. Anyway if you guys get on the website in the very first post, the order page says $229 direct.. lower prices from resellers.. just google it.

Displays functions including: RPM, MPH, intake air temp, mass air flow, engine coolant temp, injector pulse width, fuel trim, manifold pressure, ignition advance, knock retard, engine run time, battery voltage, trans temp, oil pressure and more.

The main website says IT DOES clear SES codes in addition to displaying them..

Another list of functions:
Example Parameters
Engine RPM
MPH
Knock Retard
Intake Air Temperature
Mass Air Flow Sensor Frequency
Mass Air Flow Sensor (lb/min.)
Engine Coolant Temperature
Injector Pulse Width (bank 1 and 2 if supported)
Long Term Fuel Trim (bank 1 and 2 if supported)
Short Term Fuel Trim (bank 1 and 2 if supported)
O2 Sensor Voltage (bank 1 and 2 if supported)
Manifold Pressure in PSI (Boost pressure for factory turbo/supercharger applications)
Ignition Advance
Knock Retard
Engine Run Time
Battery Voltage
Transmission Temperature
Idle air Control Counts
Throttle Position Percentage
Throttle Position Voltage
Engine Load
Oil pressure (this feature available for some 8 cyl engines only)

Damn, I've seen those things around, but never knew they did ALL that. It's like Autotap in guage form. That would actually be cool to have one. I might have to get one. Right now I'm wired for water temp, trany temp, and A/F. I'd probably just pull the water temp one and stick that in there and let it read water and IAT or something.

wonder if it reads oil pressure on ls1 's says only some v8s hope mines in that list. This would fit nicely in my blank non tcs space some black stereo plastic backing and run the wire to the diagnostic port . All I need now is a talking computer and I'll call the bitch kit .

I have just been reading about this gauge for the last hour on here. I did a search and everyone that has one loves it. I am most likely ordering one tomorrow. I did read several times that it does NOT read oil pressure on LS1's. Since the stock oil pressure gauge is functional the Interceptor will not read oil pressure. It reads just about everything else though.

yeah it reads everything a tuner will see in a tuning program such as hp tuners, etc.

I'd heard from a mechanic friend of mine that the oil pressure wont read...thats why I asked earlier for a list of what it will/won't read for certain, not what it 'could'
