Re: subs that make the most BASS the titanium eclipse would probably be more than enough for you. Most go with the aluminum just cause its cheaper and more than enough bass. If you would go for a 10 or 13 then jlw7 would be extremely loud.

If you want the latter I would say <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> Infinity makes the best sounding subs, may not put out the most bass but you will not find another sub that can go as low and sound as good as them....trust me...i've got 2 of em

Re: subs that make the most BASS I would look into a few of JL Audio's subs. Good price and good all around sound. You can get the 12w6v2 or you can step up to the mack daddy 12w7 if you've got at least 1000WRMS!
If you just want a sub to POUND I would look into an Orion HCCA or a Cerwin Vega Stroker.

Re: subs that make the most BASS thanks for the replays, i want somthing that puts out a alot of bass but still sounds good to my ears. one problem i hear with a lot of cars is rattling, when im making my box is there anything i should do or watch out for to eliminate that crappy rattling noise.

Re: subs that make the most BASS if making a box, make sure to have the right internal volume, like, some subs require .65 cubic feet for 10" and .75 cubic feet for 12",,, it should be on the specs page of your sub and what it does best in, and if you can get to that volume, there is polyfill that you can put in the box to make it seem larger, this polyfill is only for a gradual change, not a big volume change.

Re: subs that make the most BASS In all my experience with car stereo's, which is about 10years worth of making custom subwoofer enclosures and custom install jobs, I would have to say ORION makes the best subwoofers out there. However if your looking for the best bang for your buck and the best subwoofer that will take the most abuse, then KICKER by far and away gets my vote. I have 2 12" Kicker Competition's in my Trans-Am and they are more than loud enough for anything you could want. If you want it bassier than go with a ported box, if you want it cleaner and tighter then go with a sealed enclosure. Q-Logic makes a nice sealed enclosure that is custom fitted to the F-bodies. Just my 2cents. Hope it helped.

Re: subs that make the most BASS JL sucks for the most bass Go Cerwin Vega Stroker one 12" with a DEI 1100D. in the right bow I have seen these subs break welds on body panels. It has a 4" throw and a metal pin in the center for alignment. I have two competion/show car with top of the line every thing. One car has 2 RockFord Power hx2 (2000each) powered by 4500 watts of amps. And another car with 1 titanium Eclipse powered with 6200 watts. DEI amps rock.

Re: subs that make the most BASS About the "JL sucks" I have been to rep. meets and seen them test 5 of the top subs all 12", each sub was exposed to its max wattage JL lasted less than a minute the next worse sub lasted 2.34 minutes. In the audio world these JL subs are loud but last on the average 3 months (when you realy push them).

Some products are just Junk but have killer marketing,and are flashy. You dont need flashy you need quality.

Re: subs that make the most BASS remember its not a matter of the size of the speaker but how much power you have driving it. lets say you have a 12 inch sub that can handles 100 max, and u have a 10 inch that can handle 800. You put an amp with 750 max, it will play louder in a 10 because its closer to the max level of the power. If you have a 10 w/1000 max and a 12 w/800 max and the same amp then the 12 will play louder. just to help you out. dont look at brands, look at the power ratings of the speaker and amp. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

But for the cost and most bass Vega strokers I have seen this break welds,dent panels, crack dashes,and put holes in window seals. And this are Joe Blow cars but good audio. All I am saying is there is much better stuff than JL and Kicker. MTX is doing better so I will be nice. Do you want to replace a $100 JL very 3 months or have a better speaker for $200-$480. And if you knew cost on these sub you would think "why don't all the shops sell them". I worked with RockFord Protype parts in 2001 and they droped M***** S**** because of price abuse, when they had all the rockford line it was the biggest seller. Even district manager for a magor chain said "I would rather sell top quality and make 30% than crap at 60%,Becuse it is a pain to deal with warranty. I would never sell or promote anything I knew was not a quality product. So that is my 2 cents not trying to be a D**k, just letting people see through the <img border="0" alt="[bullshit]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bs.gif" />
