Thunderform Install pics
Thunderform Install pics I installed my MTX Thunderform with amp a while back and I finally got some pics on my site. Here are a few, just thought some of you might be interested. You can't see through the speaker mesh, but my camera had the flash on so it looks kind of weird.

Re: Thunderform Install pics I like it a lot. I can't have it turned up all the way or everything in my car rattles like crazy. So I would have to say it hits pretty hard, but I can't really tell cause it just rattles everything if I don't turn it down. I am not really big on stereos but I wanted some more bass. It works for me.

Re: Thunderform Install pics that looks really sweet, i just wanted to ask if you have the part number for the drivers side panel or is that just stock on your car? I recently got the jl stealthbox but my car has that trim peice that covers that entire side. thanks

Where'd you put the amp? What brand/model is it?
Where did you get all the wiring?
I've got a Stealthbox and I need to get an amp and figure out how to install everything. I've read about the PAC-OEM connectors for the amp, but I can't get anybody to tell me how to wire the stuff! Do you keep the factory left rear speaker or does the sub replace it?

Re: Thunderform Install pics Well actually the amp is built into the thunderform, its an option when I ordered it. So I dont think you can get it seperately. As for the power cables they are are just monster cables from cuircut city. No the thunderform does NOT replace my rear speaker. I taped off of two speakers then they go into a built in high/low converter that is all part of the thunderform package. The main reason I bought the thunderform was because I could order it with an amp built into it and it already has a high/low converter if you get it with the amp.

Re: Thunderform Install pics I have the exact same sub, but with an external amp. It sounds great. I just have one question. How do you get the cover to stay on? Mine always pops off, so I just took it out and put it in the basement.

Verdad Gallardo Re: Thunderform Install pics First I make sure that all the rubber gromets in the casing are not collapsed. I line the pegs up with each hole and I just tap the cover until it is all the way in. NOTE: The rear panel that has the stock speaker mounted in it goes OVER the MTX cover as well. It actually looks better and I have never had a problem with it. If you look at the last picture you will notice what I'm talking about. Good luck
