Question Alpine 9856 or 9857
Im looking at both these head units, and can't decide if I should fork out a little more money for the 9857. What are your opinions?

I have no experience with the 9857, but for the money, I really like my 9856

I have a 9857 and love it. You can customize the background, text font, scrolling text type, and the Ipod interface is awesome.

Plus you can use the steering wheel contorls without the IR with the 9857. If you go with the 9856 and want the PAC module you must use the IR version. The 9857 has the jack in the back for the PAC SWI-ALP.

If you can swing the extra $$$ for the 9857, I would go with it. The display is definitely worth it.
