Default Where can I find 2ohm speakers?

I know that the Alpine SPS170A was a 2ohm speaker but no one seems to sell them anymore and the new SPS17C2 is a 4ohm speaker. So I guess my question is does anyone know where I can find the SPS170As or know of another good 2ohm 2-way speaker to replace my junk monsoon speakers?

Two thing I always do befor asking questions on forums. If I need info, I consult Google. Search many different keywords, combos, etc. If I need physical items I can't find anywhere, I goto eBay. In this case, you need to do the latter Don't worry though, I did it for ya lol

Infinity Kappas are also a viable 2 ohm option.

Thanks for the info. After I posted the second time I found a thread that stated the SPS17C2 were just a newer version of the SPS170A and that they were both 4ohm speakers but were more efficient so they would work fine w/ the stock system.

Another option for you is the Infinity Kappa 62.7i two way 2 ohm speakers.
I recently purchased a set off ebay from hooked-on-tronics (103.00 including shipping) to Galveston, Tx.
This past weekend, I replaced both my door speakers by soldering off the original (factory) monsoon speakers and re-soldering back on the Infinitys. When completed, I was completely disappointed in the way the factory system sounded. The Infinitys rock! I haven't done anything else to the system other than this one pair speaker replacement and I couldn't believe that GM lets this '500 watt' monsoon system out in their cars. These speakers are highly recommended from an old-time rock-n-roller thats 50, bald, and almost deaf! Check them out.....

Well, after driving around the daily driver most of the weekend rockin' out on that truck's system - it's amazing that I can hear anything at all! I wished I could get the system in the Camaro to sound as good as the truck, but I don't want to spend that 3 grand again just on a sound system....hell....3 grand and I should easily be in the 11's!
