Mike @ FbodyAudio can you post pics of your set up. I just picked up a couple of these today and am trying to find a spot to mount the display in my SS. Any pics you have would be great.

Thanks

USA Spec makes one that plugs right into the changer port. It also adds and extra input but it is only gauranteed to work in a late 99-02. I bought one for 139 but decided to ditch my factory system and sold my ipod adapter.

Don't the HK's use a hard wired FM modulator? If so your limited to FM specs. While this won't be an issue if you compress your tunes down to 128k or less but will not sound very good on 192k or uncompressed tunes. I know most people do compress to get more songs onto their ipods but I do not.

As far as I know you have to get the fm wired adapter separately for the drive+play. At least that how it is at my work, Im pretty sure they are $10

I just picked up 2 and by the looks of it, it is easy to install. If you have an aftermarket stereo you can use the auxilary input. If you are using the factory radio you will need to purchase the fm transmitter.

Hint: they are on sale at best buy and crutchfield for $80.

I have this for my car
http://www.nextag.com/Pioneer-CD-iB1...52/prices-html

works great, only problem i have is the display on the radio only displays the first 8 characters of the song. I got this for the fact that my ipod stays in the console out of sight and mind, also it recharges at the same time.

I use this
(about halfway down the page)
https://ls1tech.com/forums/wiring-stereo-electronics/385485-will-aftermarket-cd-changer-work-stock-stereo-monsoon.html
I like it because I just put my ipod in the glovebox and lock it and I controll the songs using the steering wheel controls.

you can either use the built in wireless fm (bad), an optional hard wired fm mod (better), or use the built in line-out into an aux port on your head unit (best).
