anyone know of a good radar dectector for a $100 or less and where i can get it ? thanks.

Get a beltronics but spend about $50 more or so. I had the 965 and loved it

Bel Express 795, i checked out radartest.com and that was the best rated radar detector for under 100 bux, i bought two cuz they were on clearance at radioshack, . . see if they still got em at radioshack

didn't see your post till i got back from the store, i got a cobra xr9330 it was rated pretty good and was only 83 bucks hopefully it won't be a P.O.S

radioshack doesn't have to one you mentioned. is there any palce else you can get it?

no such thing, buy the real deal or nothing at all. If you want a good radar detector get a Valentine1

Spend an extra 100 and get the Belrx65 Its better than the valentine

i have a valentine and have used the bel rx65, and i like my valentine a looot more. once you have the arrows you cant live without them.

Yeah those people dont work for bel or anything. Every test is saying the bel is better and they reerence a lot of stuff to them. You need to find an unbiast site. I have had tons of radar detectors, including a bel. They all SUCKED but 2. The Escort 8500 X50 and my current Valentine 1. Those are the only 2 I would ever use again. They worked better than any RMR, Cobra, or Bel.

V1 !!!!!!!! - save for it and get it, you can send it back in for a new one whenever they updgrade the software, it payed for itself within a week when i got it.
