Default 99 stock CD changer is craped out - replacement?

SO I got a 99 WS6. My CD changer has decided to stop working. I took it apart last year when it locked up and got it going again. Its lasted about a year and now its out again. I took it down again and lubbed all the moving parts BUT something still isent right? I think it may still be locked in one section or Just giving up.

SO MY Question is this. WHere can I fina a replacement? Are there any Aftermarket Plug and Play units? I am verry happy with my stock unit and just need a working replacement. I am reluctant to buy a used unit as I figure who knows how long it will last? What do you guys think? Any Ideas? Thanks!

There are brand new factory changers available on eBay and used ones here in the for sale section. The only aftermarket unit that works with the factory system is the NeoChanger and it is a piece of crap that has a reputation for not working right out of the box.

I have one that I bought new and used for only 11 months, but in that time it was flawless and only used for 2-3 hours a month.

I got an adapter to use my ipod, so it's now been sitting in a sealed bag for 6 months out of harms way. Let me know if you are interested.

Let me see what I can do. How eager are you to get it? The reason I ask is don't be surprised if I 'disappear' because my wife is due to deliver any day now.

I will take some pics tonight and email them to you.

It is our first. We just got back from the hospital a few minutes ago because she didn't feel him move today. She's 39.5 weeks pregnant so I'm a little tense right now.

I pulled it out to take pics, but my wife told me that the camera is packed in her overnight bag for the hospital.

I'll see what I can do tomorrow.

give me a day or so.
