off their website. I got one, but it didnt come with any instructions on how to mount it or where to mount it. Also just curious if it works just as good as their detector. https://store.valentine1.com/store/

The display is just that...it is nothing more than a display for the main unit that lets you hide where the output goes. You still have to have the main unit in the car.

I keep my Valentine up on the headliner, hardwired in to the electrical system, and I have the concealed display located down in front of the shifter. If you want some pics, let me know...I can probably round something up for you.

That wouldn't be a V1 - it must be one of the other remote radar setups (K40, Passport SR7, Bel RX75 Pro, etc.). The V1 remote still requires everything mounted inside the car someplace - it just provides a remote display.

Roger that...the only reason I have the remote display is to keep prying eyes away from the fact that I have a radar detector.

yeah, your probly right, there is no such thing. Maybe you should do some research first?

Its not a common part, I know, easy mistake to make, but dont go trying to make me look dumb plz.

BTW. For anyone interested, that remote unit is BADASS. works VERY VERY well.

I certainly wasn't trying to make you look dumb. But that isn't the same V1 remote display that was asked about. The concealed display is an accessory for the standard V1 rather than a complete system like the remote you linked to. Sorry for the confusion.

The remote screen that my friend has can plug into the V1 normal radar detector unit, turning its screen off and making that become the screen, or the unit he has. I have a cobra radar detector right now (i think thats it) and i cant **** compared to what he can.. i need a v1
