do i have a short somewhere? i dont know if this is the right place to put it but...
every now and then my right turn signal goes out, the bulb still works but sometimes it goes out, and after a while it will go back on, but if i put my lights on it will go on, but it will not go on when i put my turn signal on.. idk what it could be

More than likely it's corrosion in the socket. Remember, those are dual-filament bulbs - just because the parking light filament works doesn't mean the DRL/turn signal filament does. Our cars are prone to getting water in the housing causing the socket to corrode. Have a look at it. If it's not too bad you can clean it and apply some dielectric grease before reinstalling the bulb. If it's bad, you can get replacement sockets at the dealer for a ridiculous amount of money or at your local parts store for about $10.

I could have sworn I said to check the socket (not the bulb) for corrosion. Maybe I'm just losing it with advancing age. Did anybody else see me say to check the socket?
Its the socket, same thing happend to me. My RF running light would be on 1 day, off the next and finally went out permenately. Changed the socket (less then 10 bucks for autozone) and works now.
Oh yea, might wanna jack the car up a little when doing this, I did it at my apartments without it raised any (stock car height) and it I had only 1 hand through the bottom, had to slide the other in the bumper. Wasnt too comfy lol.
