It's possible to put in an 8" in general, but how much extra work it will take varies from speaker to speaker. Might be able to baffle them so that no cutting of the car is required, might need to cut. And this is assuming that they aren't too deep.

Perhaps someone who's done it will respond...

And try a search, might turn something up...

Yes is posible. I've never seen the subs that you have so i'm not sure if they'll fit. You also have to consider that subs need an enclosure unless is capable of "free air" use. I put kicker Rmb8, witch are 8" mid bass and are "free air" capable and they sound great but won't rattle cars around you. You will have to cut into you'r car also. It will probably take you two hours to install.

I've seen JL 10w0s in the sail panels, but some cutting was required. They actually fit nicely in there though.

I've seen it once....trying to find thread now...but it's hard enough to get it to sound amazing with eu700s there - I can't imagine all the extra power.... there might become a point it's not worth it and a stealth setup in back is best. Good luck though - and keep us updated.

Yeap! not a sub but a mid bass. It's pretty clean too. I think for some people this would be more than plenty, it's tight and clean. Me, I like bass you can feel. I Got 2 12" jlw6v2 coming so it should be fun

You're not going to feel the bass with those, either. Go for a 12" in the back.

The CDT EF-8 with a cast basket and carbon fiber cone!!! This should do quite nicely in that area!! Can't wait to ge them in!!!

Im curious how it sounds, since its not a sealed enclosure. Not too mention the rattles there. Anyone ever think about glassing the inside of those panels prior to putting the sub in?

I'm using them for midbass in conjuction with the 4" and stock tweeter in the back. I'm pusing the with a US AMPS 25hc witch is 25x2 rms at 4 ohms .I get no rattles after cutting the hole for them I sprayed the **** out the inside [1 can per side] with rubberized sound deadning and dynamat [door kit] around it. Mid's sound great.

25 watts on an 8" speaker? I bet that thing will take 150 watts easily.

Thing is the US AMPS 25hc is 1ohm stable in stereo. My 8" mids are 4ohms and my 4" components that are going to used in the back are also 4ohms when combined they equal 2ohms, so 2ohms on the drivers and 2ohms on the pass. side equals 1ohm stereo so each channel will get about 200 watts rms, thats the beauty of hc amps.
