alittle help needed

Hey guys I just bought a JBL sub for my mtx thunderform box from crutchfield. The gentelman told me it would fit now when i went to install it it doesnt sit flush. I called crutchfield up to ask for a suggestion they told me to try and get a trim spacer so the sub would sit flush. My problem is ive searched the net for them and have come up with squat. Any suggestions from you guys? Thanks

Subs don't generally sit flush...

Sounds like the opening may not be wide enough or the speaker is to deep. How big of a gap is there?

maybe the size of a pen tip maybe alittle smaller... I used some felt to better seal hopefully that helps... It was pumping good but losing alil air where it was cocked alil bit.

you could get you some 1/4 inch particle board or whatever that stuff is and cut you out a spacer, then wrap it in that felt stuff you have and you got your extra space...just my thought..hope it helps
