Default moving t-top holders

okay guys, ive got a big problem. I bought a custom sub box to fit in the "trunk", or storage area of a 2000 camaro. I cant return the box because that store is out of buisness. I have t-tops, so I was wondering if there was any possible way to move the t-top holders to a different spot.I was thinking maybe on that flat area just in front if that storage hole, but I need more opinions.

Please help me out!

Honestly, that's the only place deep enough to store the T-tops upright. Plus the way the T-top mounts are screwed in from the sides not from the top pointing down so you'd have to build some kind of frame around the outside or them. Remove the rear seats and mount them. Otherwise just sell the box and buy something that works for you. The rear deck area in front of the hatch isn't deep enough to clear the glass if you try to mount the T-top holders there. Or just throw them in the back seat like alot of the guys with hatch boxes do.

You could put them in thirdgen style. That would be putting the t-tops in a big bag and strapping it down to the car on that flat area. I wouldn't recommend it though. It really sucks putting t-tops in that bag and strapping it down, which is why I store mine fourth gen style

But, yeah sell the box and buy a stealth box or something. It'll be worth it if you use your t-tops a lot.

The back seat works perfect for me, one on the left one on the right and no scratching of the glass

You could sell it and get a sub thump box that holds the t-tops.

i haven't had ttop holders for 4 years now ... i miss them a little but otherwise throw them in the back seat .. if i have guests in the back seat throw them in a friends trunk ... well worth it for a clean custom box

That would work if I didn't drive my car like a stole it. This solution is forbidden by my zero rattle policy.
