Default Help!! Broke my Fog Light Switch - Will an Aftermarket Switch Suffice??

Broke the damn switch when I was installing the Raptor Shift Light. Checked around and that damn switch is around 40 bux!! Will and aftermarket switch suffice? If so, which one?

Thanx!

Yea but the Fog Light switch has about 6 wires connected to it. So I'm not sure if it would work.

It actually has five wires but an ordinary toggle switch will do the job. Two of the wires provide switch illumination when the headlights are on - you don't really need those. The other three wires are the actual switch plus the ON indicator light. You can get a lighted rocker or toggle switch and use all three wires or get an unlighted switch and use only the brown and yellow wires.

Why dont you try to find one in a junkyard. I think a toggle switch in its place would look a little tacky.
